Nurturing The Nurturer

An uplifting, fun and inspiring presentation for caregivers such as nurses, palliative care clinicians and volunteers, mental health care workers and other health care specialties.

This presentation reminds caregivers of the importance of looking after their own needs so they, in turn, will have the strength, stamina and joyfulness necessary to care for others.

Rosalie Moscoe emphasizes the early danger signals of stress.  As one example, ‘Type E’ women try being everything to everybody, and that takes a heavy toll on them.
Rosalie's love of fun, song, drama, touching stories, interaction and good, solid messages will liven up any conference and leave participants with tips and strategies for nurturing a healthy balance.

Health In Harmony
Discover ways to achieve health in harmony with all parts of your life. This workshop combines information on stress relief, positive attitudes, nutrition and fitness to suit the needs of your group. You will determine which areas of your lives are already balanced and those you can positively affect. Come up with an action plan for success!

Sparking Creativity Through Music & Arts
This hands-on, entertaining and lively music workshop is designed for primary educators, day care providers or speech pathologists. Regardless of attendees' abilities, they will learn how to feel more comfortable using music with children, and how to enhance the experience through art activities, rhythm instruments and movement.

Formerly, Rosalie gave music programs for children at libraries, schools and day camps as well as workshops for Faculties of Education and Community Colleges.  As part of the Canadian singing duo Jim & Rosalie and later as a solo performer, she recorded five albums, published a music and activity book, and was nominated for two Juno awards (Canadian Music Awards).

Arts, Love and Strength Through the Generations
This program is perfect for a Mother and Daughter Theme. A fascinating look at the threads of love and strength from one generation to the next. A personal story of Rosalie, her daughter, her mother and grandmother, and how they all overcome hardships and have fun at the same time. They pursue careers in music, the arts, health and wellness. The story continues.

During this presentation, Rosalie sings, plays guitar, acts out a hilarious skit about a mother and daughter, shows slides of her grandmother’s work and excerpts from her daughter’s film career. A great program for every generation! Perfect for daughters, mothers, grandmothers, aunts or other loved one to share in this fun yet tender presentation.

Striking Your Harmonic Balance (for Music Teachers)

Testimonial:
Thank you so much for a most up-lifting and practical presentation. Your find knowledge and understanding of the demands of a music teacher's work assignment were evident. I was impressed with your ability to read and respond to our needs and make spontaneous modifications to your plan. Participant were quite at ease with one another for the remainder of the day. The younger teachers are especially now well-armed with strategies to help them with 'bad' stressors and and feelings of being on the brink of burnout. - Adriana Radelicki, Instructional Leader, Music, Toronto District School Board
